HOW ARE ASSIGNMENTS GIVEN?
All assignments are posted through our learning management system. Your student will be able to access the site for each of their classes.  Within the pages of these class sites there is an assignment area where all work is posted so your student will know what they have to complete for each subject.  The learning management system also combines each subject's list into one easy to follow to do list so that you and your student(s) can see everything that is coming due for your student(s) to complete and turn in.
HOW DO WE TURN IN ASSIGNMENTS?
In our learning management system, the assignment will not only list the instructions on what is to be done, but also information on how to turn in the assignment.  Depending on the assignment type, there are differing methods of turning in an assignment.  If the assignment is a "dropbox" assignment there will be a place for the student to upload the scanned PDF of their completed assignment. If it is an online "quiz" the assignment can be completed online by filling in the blank, choosing the multiple choice option, or typing the essay response, depending on the question type. These "quiz" options are done directly through the learning management system so that they do not need to write it on paper to turn it in.
HOW DO WE SEE OUR STUDENT'S GRADES?
Once the assignment has been turned in, the teacher reviews the work and gives it a grade. On the same section that the assignment is posted, they will see the grade received for the assignment listed there along with any teacher comments and also the markup of the assignment PDF. The student or parent will then be able to click on the assignment and review over the paper that was graded and read any comments that teacher may have given.
