Please review over this page of Frequently Asked Questions and if there is another question you would like to know, please submit it below.

Is there a time limit from the time a person applies to the time they take the test?

No, There is no time limit. It is a self-paced course that they complete. We have had many students complete the exam within 3 hours from starting it.

Will there be some kind of study guide to prepare for the test?

Yes. Once you register for the exam, we will send log in information to our learning management system. From there, you will have access to the digital version of the study guide to review. If you would like a printed booklet to use in hand, there is a charge of $25 in order for it to be sent.

Does the student take the test all at once, or can it be divided into a couple of days?

The exam is divided into sections. It has a total of 400 questions which are divided between 25 different sections. They will be allowed to complete each section and retake any sections as many times as they would like until the score is what they like. In order to pass the exam, the overall grade for the exam has to be a 70%. There will be a section in the learning management system that grades can be checked. It is a self-paced course and has no timer to complete all exams.

Is the test open or closed book?

The exam is open book. We have recommended that you read one section at a time and then complete the exam for that section. You can have the book open in front of you to refer to if you need any help on any of the questions.

Is the test mostly long answer, short answer and/or multiple choice?

The entire exam is multiple choice.

Is the test online?

Yes. Our exam is online through our learning management system where you will have access to the study guide, complete each section and have immediate results.
